Description
The magnificent Talkeetna River, “the river of plenty,” features glacially fed, flat water, swift and cold, yet calming and serene. This portion of the river is good for all ages.
Possible views of Denali and the Talkeetna Mts., spawning salmon, and fresh water streams. A beautiful introduction into Alaska’s wilderness as flora and fauna drape the river’s banks and where eagles nest in the tree tops above — what great sights this tour offers! Viewing several river beaver lodges you will experience an incredible work of art as you assess the beaver’s ingenuity in dam building.
Included
Denali View Raft Adventures will provide over boots and rain gear. Clients should bring sunglasses, cameras, and binoculars.
Directions
Clients can take the TAL shuttle or call the Denali View office to arrange a pick-up before the trip’s departure. We are in the Talkeetna River Guides Yurt on the main street.
Cancellation Policy
If your party or any individual in your party cancels outside of 24 hours of your scheduled trip, we will provide a full refund minus $10/pp administration fee. No refund will be given, if your party or any individual in your party cancels inside of 24 hours of your scheduled trip. No refunds will be given for no-shows. Weather is not a cause for cancellation since trips run rain or shine. Denali View Raft Adventures can cancel a trip for any reason (including severe weather and/or high water conditions, minimum amount of participants not met) and we will in that case provide a 100% refund. Tour need a minimum of 2 people in total to go.
